Charter leaders of color matter

In 2019, the National Charter Collaborative launched their Charter Leaders of Color Matter campaign aimed at elevating the story of charter school leaders of color who are making significant impacts in their community. We developed a brand style for the campaign, as well as short documentaries and supporting creative around each school leader’s story.

Meet Jonathan Johnson. To highlight him and his work at Rooted School in New Orleans, Louisiana, we visited the campus and spoke with him and other members of the Rooted community. He shared his story and his vision for providing high school students with opportunities to develop their skills in the most in-demand job sectors in New Orleans.

Meet Daniella Anello. At DC Bilingual, we met with Daniela and her community to better understand how special the bilingual school is and how her leadership has shaped the community.
